Day 4: Odaiba (Hot Spring)

This morning, only woke up after the lobby call what time they can clean our room. Look at the watch, it was already 1030am.

the leg, knees is feeling the sore from yesterday ski trips, body is in rejecting modes. but the stomach is protesting! looking at the clock, we had miss the breakfast time. not choice, we decided to do brunch at Odaiba instead.

travelling to Odaiba, you need to take train from Ikea- (Jr line) to Shimbashi 45mins ride, cost 190 yen, from shimbashi, take Yurikamome Line to Odaiba Kaihinoen, 310 yen, 12mins.

Reached Odaiba at around 12pm in the afternoon, close to die from hungry, we quickly went over the "Deckers" a big shopping centre, there are lots of resturants, food courts, games old and new. we went straight up to 5 flr and begin to look for the best looking food sample we can see. keke, we went into this resturant call ""big Chef" this place is best for its tomato rice in egg. we had a wonderful lunch there, as the view is over seeing the rainbow bridge.

after lunch, we move off to do some shopping and more photo taking along the walk way of Deckers. we also went to Fuji television station (the one with the big ball), the Museum of Maritime Science and Odaiba marine park. before we decided ot go for the HOT SPRING!!! yesh, finally.

Oedo Onsen Monogatari Hot Spring, time: 345pm

according to the locals, this is a tourist hot springs, the fees difference from time to time. morning and evening is the cheapest, where afternoon, is the most expensive, not choice la, let go!

went into, we kept our shoe, went in to register, pick up our yutaka from the counter, go into another room to change into our yutaka and into another locker room, this is where everyone is naked. I went into the hot spring, oh man, it is really good!, there is an outside hot spring in the open. so nice! not very hot, only about 40-50 degrees, good enough for a tired body and leg, it is all natural. chatted up with a thailand man and his Japanese friend in the hot spring, topic on how we spend our holidays, where we come from, what we are working and some thailand politics, which i dun want to get into much. I bid farewell to my new friends, bathed and move off asap as I am suppose to meet Joanne outside 515pm. I am late.

we went to Venus fort for some shopping, I bought a "burberry blue label" It is only available in Japan, for her birthay present. eat some soup inside the shopping centre, walk over to Pallete town (lots of game machines and where the ferries wheel is) Toyota Mega town (where is showcase its old and new toyota cars) we went back to Deckers to take some night view on the Rainbow bridge and the ferries wheel. before we set off back to Ikea.

on the way to the station, we stop by their super marts, bought some goodies and instants noodle for tomr breakfast. another 1hours ride back, we end our night with KFC pepper chicken. very nice!
