Day 7: Mount Fuji

today is another day of waking up early, as we need to catch the bus at Prince hotel at sunshine city. it is a 20mins walk from where I am staying.

so woke up at 6am, we boiled water and cook noodle. move out of the hotel at 7am. time needed to catch the bus is 730am. when we reached sunshine city, we are trying to find prince hotel which is just beside the shopping centre. being singaporean, we except the hotel name will be big enough and easy to find. but we searched for it for nearly 15mins. before we found it. nearly miss our bus

The bus we went up is going around Tokyo picking up other passengers to an interchange for change another bus. it took us 1 hr just to reached the interchange. change another bus, we continue our jounery to Mount Fuji with our tour guide Mika.

during the way, she is telling us some history of Fuji, japan cultures, life style and religon. it is another 1 hours bus ride, when we saw Fuji on our sight. Mika told us that we are very lucky, that we are able to see the whole Fuji, as during the past few day, most of the tour group is unable to see it.

first stop, we reached the Mount fuji visitors center, taking some pictures and shopping. we ended 20mins and proceed to the first station.

at the first station of Fuji, we are one step closer to it. but the gate to the second station is close. then we understand that the road is to slippery for tour bus to proceed. aiyo.. no choice, we took at least a tons of pictures there :P

lunch is at Hanako resort, where is located just below fuji. we had japanese lunch for 50mins. after lunch, we proceed to another site, Hanako Crater. where we took a boat into the top of the mountains, took a cable car up to the top and view down. it was unbelieveable beautiful and cold. on the top, I spoken to a american that is also here for the marathon, hmmm.. finally he is the first person, i met that is doing the Japan marathon.

we ended to tour at 425pm and took about 3 hours bus and train ride back to Ikea, where we went to a nice resturant for her valentine day dinner.

tomr, I am sleep at least until 8am. shag out.
