Day 9: Puroland (Hello Kitty Land) and Post Marathon dinner

today meet up with the guys at Tarma Station at around 1015am. when i reached the entance, can see they are already starting to carbo loading japanese curry rice. we proceed to Puroland after they had their makan.

inside puroland, the place is suited the theme well. it hello kitty! pink, white and blue. after purchasing the ticket, we went in and starter snapping pictures with hello kitty, daniel and other ceatures (i meant friends) that I would have to consult a 8 years old for their names and where they are from. nevertheless, my wife still goes crazy when they appeared. I would just took the iconic "ones" and be photograher for most of the others.

after the attending the shows, parades and shopping, where my wife bought a Kitty head back. we decided to go to a nearby donuts shop for our teabreaks cum lunch. I pretty much enjoyed the donuts part as I enjoyed the same one in Taipei a couple of years ago. I even had 3 cup of kopis. The guys want to do a prayer before the marathon, so we proceed to Asakusa to visit a temple called senjoji temple that comes with a flee market called Nakamise shopping. It sold most snacks and other items, this is where the guys goes nuts on the snacks.

we went off at 7pm to Shinjuku, first in mind is to visit the starting line up for tomr. when we reached, it was a little too dark for us and we only state where to meet and the direction to go.

dinner ended at a Japanese resturant, I shall not name it, as the food isn`t good enough to mention. waited almost 30mins before we can get a table for 9 person, we order our food, beers, drinks and of course with great accompany, there is never short of laughters and jokes.

we aparts on our own way back to hotel and see each others 745am.

I had not being really preparing for this race much, despite of the expreience i had from previous. Cool weather and no injury, I knew i would be able to handle it, I hope that it will be just like the GE30km, that i would make it another events not to be miss.

keeping my finger cross...
