at 5pm this afternoon, got very hungry in the office. I started to look for makan, stood up from my desk, walked out to my colleagues, checking out what they have on their desk. haha, I am not the sort that would look for food in the office, so i guess i must have "frighten" some of them. anyway, it is also a nice way to communicate with them informally.
6pm, unable to stuff up my stomach, i went to the canteen and found some malay store still opens. gota some prata added some vegs. glurp down everything within 10mins, i rushed off to pick up Tao at Suntec.
started the run in relax mode, warming up the leg in the process. in 10mins of the run, the leg body suddenly warm up faster than normal. I could pick up the leg and pace along BBM. i won`t said we are fast, but enough to put a long tail behind the 2nd person that caught up with us. it felt good as the body is willing to push fast in the early part of the night. just as i am reaching the zouk bridge, i begin to slow down. stomach felt like exploding, bloated like hell. omg. luckily, we are stopping, i signal to BBM that we are waiting for the rest, just in time to take a break.
after the rest, it was all down hills. My stomach bloated, i could feel the expansion on the wrist like carrying a balloon running. I signal to the gang on my condition and do a slow run to the flat for the climb later.
Reached the Flat, Tao and others had already start the climbing, i just followed. no speed, no strenght, i just struggled. 1 set, that about all i could take tonight. reached the ground floor, I chatted with the others, while some of them did a 4-5 sets probably. (i never knew someone would love to climb stair that much, i started remembering my nightmare when i was a young boy)
reached start pt, we got a treat from Tao on H20 and soya bean drinks from Stuck.
lesson learn
no food 1 hour prior to any training :(
