Tonite is a another special run events, it is the CBD "Birthday" not much of a history, but 2 years of maintaining a run like this, take great effort and patience.
Can you imagine that organising a run every tuesday, worry about attendance, provide drinks, tumper bags, knowing every road, every u turn and knowing everyone, making sure that they arrival safely and go home on time.
that not all, making plans for training for a specific events, hills runs, marine south run Fort canning interval. where most of us benefit to this training, that include myself. Although, i only join the CBD during the end of 2007, i can feels that the different bonds of the CBD runners, than other run i took part in.
Running in the mist of CBD, take much efforts that i couldn`t said more. A small groups that starts this runs, as at now, close to 100 personal had taken part, where more that 50 are regluars now.
still welcoming more new runners, serious, non serious, want to sweat it out, want to know more friends, want to know our secret training grounds, Join Us.
as Kops21 and Tiwass ending their message tonite, "we will still be doing what we do best, the road will not change, but we will make it more interesting for new runners"
Join us, don`t be shy and well done!
tonite run started off without LT, he have to go for wedding dinner, so he slack :P therefore, the group starter off slow and relax, as most of us are doing recovery run after the GE30 hills. I am running with Buay most of the time, taking care of the rear, making sure no one more slack than us. hehe
running into marine south, we saw cokiee stop, we ask him to join us on the slow paces, where you can see the rest is powering up the road. chatting on the past GE events and coming bike rides. aupon reaching the BBQ area, a group starter to u turn, this is where we pick up babes, ask her to join us for the slow paces, reluctantly she followed :P, on the way, saw tiwass doing power walk, we met up yankie on the way back, think he is checking if there is anyone leave behind.
completed about 8km, I guess around 55mins. not bad for a recovery runs.
