75.88km Ride

woke up at 345am today, feeling a bit sluglish, i drag myself out of the bed. not very sure about what i am doing :P i actually walk around, up and down, washing my bottles and thinking if i should eat some breakfast, milo before the ride later. should i drive? or ride from home?

open a bottle of strawberry kiwi, i decided to ride there. but.. i have no place to keep my hp and cash. no bag on the bike, no small pouch or any other bag small enough. aiyo.. i can dun need to bring, but what if..... i nearly bought my fuel belt, just to keep the hp and cash. but i relucant. At 5am, i head off to ECP with just $10 in my small pockets and a house key. I am cruising at 24-25km when i reached fort road B1 at about 20mins include some traffic light break. distance: 8km.

Reaching Car park B1, i saw a familiar face with his iron horse going strong. Oei i called out from behind. we ride together towards Carpark F2. cruising at 22- 24km distance: 6 km. reaching CP F2, we took a short break and continue to the coastal road. once into the coastal road, i begin to power off, calling to K to meet at the last carpark. i try the aero position and play around with the rear gear, while keeping the front gears at highest. In aero position, i felt more comfortable and changing the gears accordingly to the road condition make it easier for me to ride, meanwhile keep the speed at 30-32km/hr. the leg felt strong and comfortable, felt like riding in the gym, which i am in my most comfortable state. reached the end of the car park, i waited for a while, when K reached and signal me to return. we were unable to make another laps, as there is a road blocked for a time trial. no choice loh, i will meet him at fort road carpark B1 instead.

continue on the way back, i saw ronnie running towards the coastal. i called out to him and he told me he is running with B. ok, i try to locate her la. hehe :P turning into ECP, i kept a look out for her and slower my speed to 22- 24km/hr. thru-out the way, din see B. i stop at the toliet at Carpark B1, waiting for K to arrival. He arrival in a short while, we continue to our way back to F2 carpark. slow and relax, reached Car park F2: distance: 62km.

after a short break, drinks offering from K, while he is munching on his peanut butter sandwich. I told him i had enough and going back liao. As he is doing another 30km more to make 120km today, he accompany me to Fort road where he u turn and i proceed back another 8km more. aupon reaching mac donald, we came across a zebra crossing, i slow down for a man, in his 50 (i guess) thinking that he would walk off when i am appoaching him. when i am about to reach, he suddenly stop! face to face, he stare at me. WTF is he stopping in the middle of the road. i almost crash into him. he then turn to his wife and said he is actually letting me cross!? how to cross or by pass him, if he is in front of me? wah liao.. this kind of ppl, would probably had make many cyclist crashed. i shouted at him :" hey, stupid, wait someone killed you then you know!" i just ride away!

reaching B1, i bid farewell to K and ride home via, kallang, lavendar and balestiar road. reached home: distance: 75.88km. good session. next ride, 90km.
