wanted to try something different today, so went to the gym instead of bike i went straight to the weigh session. It must had be sometime since i pulled up the weighs and start pumping, i cant do that kind of weigh anymore, so have to settle for lights one instead.
started out with squats, 4 sets of 20. in the first set, i could feel my leg turning jelly. oh no, this is really bad. i knew the weighs is really light and i am only in my first set. i endure the next 3 sets, only able to up another sets of weighs during the session.
bench press, is no better either. 1st sets, the arms and chest aching. only able to pump 12 x 3 sets and must stop. the arm is darn tired. not very sure about the chest. i guess, i will know tomr morning.
went over and start the different position of sits up. "someone" once told me that if you want to have quick sucessful abs, 1500 each day for 30days. wah lao.. i even have problem doing 5 sets of 20s, not said 500. who the hell wants 6 packs, when they can have 6 in 1 pack, easier to carry mah, right? I always said those with 6 packs is with good genes. not me.
as predicted, my leg wasn`t good enough for the hill tonite. started out the run weak and panting badly. i knew i was not in good shape for the hill but wanted to reach the top, even if i had to walk. (Pride and honour) reaching the traffic light before the hill, i attempt a slow run up, panting and sweating. until half way, my leg just could not take it anymore, especially my HR went overdrive again, this is the 2nd time i exprience this, i had to stop.
This is the first time i stop in the middle of the hill. slowly walking up, Tao and terence catches up and try to push me along, trying a jog up, until the leg protest again. i walked again. reaching the top, i sounded out that i am going back. running back by moose road accompany by tao, terence and eatrun. we run slowly back to the start pt with some farlek session. we reached the start pt 830pm.
distance: 12km (est)
bad session. (although, the weighs session is not bad, but it took the best out of me during this hilly run) i guess, either i do more weigh session before the run, or dun do. lol.. let me think about it.
