8888 Ghostly Run
it must have been 2 year back when i first joined the sgrunners for their first events run. "Ghost Run" at CCK Cemetery. tonight, I am accompanied by tao, fennel and LT. Started to run into the lonely route, the night tonight is bright shine by the moon light. which reminds me of the NS days.
running towards the grave yards, it wasn`t as eerie as we thought. mist of the run, could see some vehicle coming into the cemetery, are they also coming here to run? the route is quite hilly and lot of holes. along th way, saw 2 man in the middle of the grave yard burning a "mountain of paper money" and the lorry they driving, had a name "own money pay money" are they in the mid of returning the money? to whom?
running towards the Muslim graveyards, it was darker and more eerie. I could feel that the pace is faster naturally. finished the run in 23mins. distance: 4.7km. what an Anniversary Run for me
45km Bike Log
this morning gang namely, LT, piglet, tao, xiao di and me. meet up at upper pierce reservoir at 630am, LT and Tao is already there, piglet come shortly. we convoy to mandai shell to meet up XD. after a few mintues rest, we continue to Bt Gombak for a kopi break. The left quads was a bit painful, maybe was the run last night and not enough rest. aiya, this morning i am taking easy.
after the break, we continued to bt timah via LH. along bt timah, the car today is lesser then the last time i was there. decided to pick up the pace along the route. speed reached 38km/hr in an aero position on a flat route, piglet rode closely behind.
finished the ride and took a break at shunfu kopi shop. where the guys enjoyed muffins. good and easy ride.
