"HOT" Trail 25km MR

after a few days of warm weather, today was expecting the same. even when I reached the car park. i was already sweating when i am changing shoes. most of the gang had already arrived and waited for buay (the groom) to brief us on his coming big day on Monday.

after briefing, we sets off to conquer the LSD that was put off last week due to heavy rain. this morning, the gang make up of , LT, Tao, Too kuang, Yankiee, Stuck, batz, regina, deep cruiser, LT`s friend and myself. quite a big turn out for a trail LSD. Started off the first 4km into the trail, my breathing is horrible. i was panting and breathing thru the mouth. trying to keep up the pace set by too kuang, i was trying to keep it close. keeping the run at the lightness efforts, keeping the arm swing short, short step and fast cadence. finally complete the first 4km in about 24mins.

walked out to the famous 2 hills towards pieces reservior, we took it easy and complete without problem. took a quick pee break at pieces reseviors toilet and continued to the aircon road. turning left and finished to the gate. distance about 10km. 1hour 10mins. Running back to the toilet side, we took another break before heading to Rifle rang route.

We completed a small hill, and make a right turn to rifle range. we run thru under the "HSBC Tree Top walk bridge" i took a power gel and continue to complete to ammo dump. while the rest decided to do another 5km to make up the 30km, yankiee and myself decided to wait and rest of by the side of the ammo dump. Regina and LT`s Friend make they way back to starts pt. We were playing with the monkeys and drinking waters, while LT came back after 10mins. think he took a short hill up and come back. the rest came back after 40mins.

We continue back to the starts pt, we conquer the 2 hills again, turning to the ranger station and back to starts point. what a hot trail run today. All is feel good today, not major problem. next week tapering for those whose is doing the North Face Challenge. We went to beach road for a good brunch.
