This morning, we participate in a Guinness World Record in the making. "The longest Lantern 5km walk" cum a 10km run in the KPE tunnel. Of cos, we took part in the 10km tunnel run instead.
Verdict:
free entrance fee
nice event t shirt
goodies bag with lots of stuff.
good distance for a morning recovery workout
good company
good experience running where part of the tunnel was not lighted up. nice LED lighted up at the side of the route.
expected sauna run in a tunnel environment.
I treat this like a recovery run and complete in around 60 mins, but i probably would not do it again, even if it is free. it was really hot and humid ! Went for a well deserve brunch at whampoa.
