difference in space, difference in time

have you wonder why there is so much differences in us? why does a person whom look so similar, living in the same planet, breathing the same air and watching the same stars at night. had so much difference between us?

over the past weeks, i had the honour of travelling to a place, less travelled. it was below 0 negative 15 degree in a bright sunny afternoon and a extreme negative 35 degree just 5 hours later. The Traffic was crazy, the snow and icy road required the direction to be change everyday. even the locals find the traffic unbearable.

Space. yes, it was spacious. living in a small country like us, we could not imagine the ample space they had, every shopping mall was the size of orchard ion. Resources was not scares and there is ample for everyone. some of the locals told me that even though, salary is low here, money was only meant to be a transition, no one actually own them there. oil, land, minerals, mines, natural resources was no lacking there. Communism Theory?

As the environment was harsh but full of rich minerals and spaces, human characters building and culture become a unique way of living. in this space, we call them brotherhood. there is no need for details, everything comes with the right contacts. education, knowledge and skills become a waste of time; the only skills they probably need is to drink 1.5L of Chinese wine and still sober enough to sing praise to the authority. This social trend happened 2000 years ago, and now it is still happening now. will it goes on another 10,000 years! long live the emperors. their spirit never die.

Live to Survive? or Survive to Live?

I am honoured to be received as a guest here and special attention was given to me from the tour guide from clothes, food, living and even the tours. as i am beginning to observes the social trend and the differences back home, I was wondering that could our 65 year old culture in our part of the world is an expectational cases?? back home, we care too much about little things! little details that was put upfront of us, did we complaint too much of our lives and did we care too much about the thing we don`t have? we do not have the luxury to survive to live, our natural environment put us in a comfortable position and our systemically approach to our manhood does put some guarantee in our future, but not all will agree. I am wondering those stories that we told to our foreign brotherhood here, could actually be bought back to their home as a side dinner jokes.

when I leave this harsh country to a cosmopolitan city, I leave with a light heart and glad to take this some thought and some theories on modern human behaviors.
