I was suppose to meet up the team to collect the bags together and carbo loading, but somehow, was`t able to. no choice, got to collect it alone yesterday in the afternoon.
I managed to take time off from a meeting and rushed to the expo site for collection, it was drizzling when i reached there and seem like it was going to be like this for quite sometime. It was not difficult to find the expo, just followed those with the blue bags.
upon reaching, i managed to queue at the 10km line, which is supposed to be shorter. looking at the line, I am at least 10 layer of queues. omg! without any entertainment, i had to call up some buddy for chat :P.. no choice, if not very boring! 2 hours of wait! I had being to many marathons expo and this was the longest i had to wait. I don`t understand why, the other expo was almost a pick and go service and i had to wait for 2 hours for this. Poor planning.
The whole expo is actually empty, nothing much to see and almost boring too. I did not stay any longer when i pick up my stuffs, just wanna get out of there. I hope the guys got better queues then me.
the goodie bag this year is quite the same as last year, empty! the event tee for male was like a duplication from last year only the date had change. Only the ladies event tee had improved with better design and better material.
other than this, lots of unwanted vouchers in the bag.
anyway, see you at the finishing line. just shout "hoi sey bo" when you see me running the 10km and i will reply :)
