CBD

tonight, the CBD gang is bigger. there was a couple of new faces in the group, looking at them, they seem fast.

started the run slow and steady, i guess everyone keep in mind the 1km interval later. the group stay together most of the time. I am running slowly, but the leg seem unable to warm up. It felt sluggish. is it becos, i had not run more then 5km each run last week?

reached the starting pt, after a quick briefing from LT. we speed off into the floodlights, it was a 1km sprint. the strong runner is in the front, i am in the mid pack. thinking of opening up the stride, i finish the first lap. feeling damn tired.

2nd laps starts after 3 mins rest, i continue to open the stride and only in the mid pack. aiya, never mind la. it training after all.

for the 3rd and 4th laps, i decided to take it easy and have a slow run with cfred who is doing his IPPT tomorrow.

finally finish the sprints work, we walked a bit towards the ending point and run the rest of the way back.

distance: 11km (estimated)

good warm up session for tomorrow bike. after the run, the leg still felt fresh, no aching feeling. hmm.. i guess this is good news to me, although, i am feeling the tiredness, probably due to the busy work day and only one meal today.

some information for desaru half ironman

bring cheap water bottle so that i can throw, there are nice bottle to change and take home
run route is quite flat.
buffet before the race.
remember your race nutritional plans. power gels, beans.. etc.
