LSD, bike, swim

Finally, i am on leave. so got some plans for training today. first on the menu bike.

time: 3hour
average: 30km/hr

today started out the ride at 645am, plan to ride to mandai and do 4 loops. but when i reached mandai road. there was a big jam, so much big truck and they dun seem friendly. haha, so no choice, i decided to change my bike route. going into Kangji dam- Sungei gedong- lim chu kang- bt btatok- bt timah- Lorine road- thomson- home.

reached the junction of sungei gedong camp, i took a 5 mins break. distance: 50km. stretched and took a drink, i carry on the ride. on the stretch of Lim chu kang, the head wind is strong, but i manage to do a average of 28km. i think is becos of the clip shoes i am using.

took another break at the end of lim chu kang, i continue the ride turning left. passing thru chua chu kang - teck whye and into bt batok turning left to the driving center, i continue to bt timah road. the traffic at bt timah was also terribly bad. bus is not giving way and taxi sway in and out infront of me. once nearly fall, luckily i manage to unclip the shoe. *sweat

finally reached lorine road and reached home in one peace. time: 930am sharp. cool! reached home, i am just damn too tired. dun know why... quickly took a bath and head to sleep. i guess, it is not sleeping well last night that make it toughs for the ride.

second on the menu; swim. it hope i feel better later.

took a nap in the afternoon, actually din really sleep. woke up and starts to pack my stuffs and went off to Sentosa for a dip.

upon reaching, i notice that the counter at the gate had change to ERP system. not bad! it is faster.

reached TJ beach. we took a place by the chair, where J sun tan and i went off for a dip.

each lap is 800m, the water is warm enough to my liking. the water today is calm and the wave is kind. after the first lap, i took a water break and went off for the 2nd round.

on the 2nd lap, the wave seem higher and more frequent but not too bad. still able to enjoy the swim.

after 1600m, i decided to do another 400m just to make 2000m. good session, the weather is good, not too hot as it was already late afternoon. overall, the water is warm enough, calm and wave is good enough, not too high and my swim is relax, enjoyed every moment of it. will do it again once it is near to race day
