Err....err.... Ladies and Gentlement.. Err.. err...

"Err... err.. ladies and Gentlemen.. err...Err.. this is your captain speaking, did you miss me :P "

Commercials, advertisement, provocative tag lines, visual and virtual marketing, at the right time and the right target audience.

yes, i am a freak, commercial advertisement interests me more then tv series.

last night, i managed to catch a glimpse on "Star awards 2010" when J told me that it was a 2 weekend events. Everyone was talking about it, in the past, I would have ignored it and rather watch you tube instead. This time round, I was "forced" to seat down and watch it with my mum.

The show started out parading our artists and guests, while they walked down a long red carpets into the studio. A couple of emcees tried intercept and interview them, just the hollywoods. "Aunties" question such as clothes, upcoming show/ movies wouldn`t be worst then a "Singaporean" question "how do you think about Singaporean girls?"

In fact, I was quite stunned! what kind of scripts is that?! Err...err...err... was much of an answered, beside the, "they are very warm!?"

the next one was even funnier! A lady guest in a red-see-Thu blouse and a black strap inner top was asked a question on how she thinks about her dressing this evening?? her answers was this is "Christine Dior" and the reply was.. Err..err..errr... very nice! i think these emcees need to go for a one day fashion and grooming class.

As the show goes on, awards recipient went up one after the others, most thanks the fans, their families, Bosses etc. some was crying, some was stunned, some was angry. I personally think that, these awards should focus on the back end work more. Lighting technician, Beautician, make up artists, directors, scriptwriters, best shows.

Best actors or actress award should be the most important award. definitely, not the top 10 guys and ladies "awards" was a total waste of time! anyway, it was pretty predicatable. Then comes the "honourable awards" oh my god! this is the worst "thanks you" speeches I had heard for a long time. The script writer should be shot!

I am not sure, if this would be shown in any part of the world, I am hopping a "NO" There was no teasers, lousy 20 years old concept advertisment, poor stage planning, scripts, dress sense, hair, etc. and there was not even a sideline entertainment! how worst can it get, when they tried to show you the post event celebration.
