1 and a half day before 2009

I had no idea how to journal down "my doing" for the year 2008, as my race timing still not worth talking about, my work still sucks, new colleagues is getting worst by the year, but lucky I had a growing number of close friends in my circle that i can ranted about and close family friends is still there for me whenever i need them.

2008 was the year that i took up multi sport seriously, I tried my first Biathlon, Dualthon and Triathlon and grow to love it. As running and swimming had always being my forte, I had a based under the belt which make those short distance in the multi sports, i took part really enjoyable. And then, I took up the Half Ironman distance. which in reality, it was not fun at all. Really tough for my liking. Ironman? I will Keep in View.

I only took part in 3 marathon distance this year, Tokyo being the most enjoyable one with close training buddy/ friends running together. I would name it as one of the marathon I would do it again in the near future. Sundown marathon was one of the toughest one i had done, not only you had to battle the physical stress of the distance, you are challenging the biological clock of sleeping in the middle of the night till day break. Last but of course, not the easiest was the annual MR Ultramarathon that took place 2 days ago, which mark the run that close the year. As usual, it was not for the faint hearted.

work! ha yes, organisational politics is part and parcel in my work place now. ranting rumours, speculating in the untruths was their way in acceptance among the other colleagues. But once you are not into their "games" the boycotting would be onto you. They msn the whole day in office, always talk about "someone" as though they seemingly care and make sure they leave the office later than any one in the office to prove that they had work that was never ending and busy till the last minutes of the day. I spoken to their managers and they even are not really sure why "they" had to work so late, ironic isn`t it. My Boss like to say (when the route is long, you would know the strenght of the horse) let see if they crash any sooner.

I had also continue on my MBA in the later part of the year during September and would projected to finish in 2010, June. Getting back to reading journal, writing thesis and studying for exam was really tough for the first few weeks when i began, but fortunately, I got the hang, just when i am about to prepare for exams. well, the result was not out yet, but got a couple of good news that all my assignment passed! how only hope that my exams could get thru. This is important as it would give me confidents in my future subjects. *finger cross*

Resolution?

first in mind, was to concentrate on my MBA studies. I just need a passed in every subjects and smoothly and surely getting thru the months. As for Work, I need a change! hoping for the best now.

Sports, I would be very selective in my choice for race in year 2009, as I think, most of the time, I would spend in preparing in my school works. therefore not much time in races, I would have little time to prepare for. Beside the shorter distance from Tribob that i had signed up for, probably Desaru, there are also 2 running races that i am aiming at. now Hopping to form a team to train together and complete it. as for the Ironman, it would be a 2010 end year dream.

anyway, I would still be training, swimming, biking and running long distance. as part of building up the base. so don`t forget me, if you are doing it and need accompany along the way :)

here wishing everyone;

Happy New Years

Do every Races with confidents, smooths, relax and smile at the camera when crossing the finishing line. Peace upon to you
